British RP remains one of the most requested accents in audiobook narration, but learning it well takes more than imitation alone. A strong foundation in accent mechanics helps narrators stay consistent, connected to performance, and confident across long form work.
This spring, narrator.life offers a focused British RP narration course designed specifically for audiobook narrators who want practical, performance grounded dialect training.*
Build a strong foundation in British Accents
Launching July 27, this live Zoom course is taught by Kat Littrell, a dialect coach, voice educator, and award-winning voice actor with an MFA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Over four weeks, students will work through accent mechanics, material selection, and performance integration in a structured small group setting designed for real growth and practical application.
*This course is part of Accents of London, an ongoing series designed to help narrators build practical, performance ready dialect skills through focused study and structured progression. British RP / Standard Southern British serves as a prerequisite foundation for future offerings in the series, including Cockney and Modern Cockney / MLE (coming soon).
